Terms of Service

Lilac Drawer publishes reviews, care guides and buying guides, lists deals from other retailers, and hosts a community where members share posts, photos and fashion collages. We don't sell products ourselves: purchases are made on the retailers' websites, under their terms.

• You must be at least 16 years old, wherever you live.
• Give accurate information, keep your password private and tell us if you think your account is misused.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person, one account. Don't impersonate anyone or pretend to represent Lilac Drawer.
• You can delete your account at any time in your profile settings (Edit Profile → Account).

When you post, comment or message on Lilac Drawer, don't:

• harass, bully, threaten or hate on anyone, or encourage others to;
• post sexual, violent or otherwise inappropriate content;
• post spam, scams, ads or links to other websites (external links are blocked in the community);
• post fake reviews, or promote products you are paid for without saying so;
• share other people's private information, or content you don't have the right to share;
• break the law, or try to hack, overload or scrape the site.

You can report posts, comments and profiles, and block other members, from the "…" menu. We review reports and may remove content, limit features or suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where the law requires it (for example the EU Digital Services Act), we will tell you why and how to ask us to look again.

You keep ownership of what you post. So we can run the community, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and share your content on Lilac Drawer and in previews of it (for example when a post is shared on social media). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies others have already reposted or that remain for a short time in backups.

You confirm you have the right to post what you share. If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, email lilacdraweres@gmail.com with the details.

• Prices, discounts and availability come from retailers and can change at any time. The price on the retailer's website at the time of purchase is the one that applies. For Amazon products we don't show prices: use "Check price on Amazon".
• Reviews and guides are our honest opinion and are for general information only, not professional advice. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions (for example care labels).
• Problems with an order, delivery or refund are handled by the retailer you bought from.

Our articles, photos, design and logo belong to Lilac Drawer or our licensors. You may share links to them and quote short parts with credit, but please don't copy whole articles or images without permission.

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is". We can't promise it will always be error-free, uninterrupted or that every price and detail is current. Content posted by members is their own opinion, not ours.

To the extent the law allows, Lilac Drawer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by retailers, other members or events outside our control. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to USD 100.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded, including in the EU, the UK (for example the Consumer Rights Act 2015), Canada and Australia (the Australian Consumer Law), or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or if we stop running the site. The sections on content licences already granted and liability continue after that.

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell members by email or on the site before they apply. If you keep using the site after that, the new terms apply.
